MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BOOK CLUBS –  will not meet in the summer months and will resume meeting on September 17 at 7:00pm.  Watch the bulletin for the September book selection.

SUMMER MUSIC – We are looking forward to special music over the summer.      If you have a musical gift to share, please sign up in the music robing room or see Jennifer.  We need musicians of any style or genre from June through Labor Day.

Our mission for May and June will be Church World Service.  You will see a big, black bucket in the narthex and Fellowship Hall to collect donations, donation envelopes are in the pew racks, OR you can easily give at  Our donations go toward items needed around the world where disasters have struck.  In the past you may have donated for Mother’s Day blankets or Father’s Day tools.  We are adding other options this year since the need for disaster relief is so pervasive.  Blankets are $10, school and hygiene kits are $15, and emergency cleanup kits (for post flooding) are $75.  We invite you to be a part of the FCC Bucket Brigade by donating what you are able.  Your generosity has been helping to heal the world for a while.  So, are you ready to “fill the bucket” yet again that this healing might continue?

Dear Friends,  Thank you so much for the generous send off with gifts/cards and a beautiful lunch. The pirate lunch box with the cards you gave me will be very helpful as I start my next adventure, and it means so much to have such thoughtful Parishioners/friends in my life. I have so appreciated being part of the First Congregational Church maintenance department for the past 2+ years. The fabulous people with whom I have had the opportunity to work with are a big part of why that is. I will miss you all. Please stay in touch; you have my email & number.   God Bless You All.

A Special Thank You to God’s Baby Closet. Stay focused on the mission serving the local communities; you volunteers are amazing.

To The Women’s Guild, all you ladies are simply amazing, your generosity to the church and community is incredible.

To all the Wardens, thank you for getting all those big projects approved and implemented.  Your unwavering support was instrumental in maintenance of the Church. Stick to your Three, Five & Seven year plan.

Reverend Deb & Arlene, we had lots of laughs. Keep that sense of humor going and remember to have FUN every day.

I have not opened One Card yet, but I came close.
